Terms of Service
Effective date: 22 September 2026 · Last updated: 22 September 2026
These terms govern the use of ClipFarmer Studio (“the app”), a private desktop application for preparing and publishing short-form video to its operator's own TikTok account. By installing or running the app you agree to these terms.
1. The app
ClipFarmer Studio is a local Windows application. It has no hosted service component and no end-user accounts. The party running the app (“the operator”) is the same party that owns the TikTok account it connects to.
2. TikTok account and authorization
- The app accesses TikTok only after the operator authorizes it through TikTok's official Login Kit consent screen, using the official Content Posting API.
- The operator is responsible for the TikTok account, for keeping its credentials secure, and for complying with TikTok's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Authorization can be revoked at any time from TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions) or by disconnecting the account inside the app.
3. Acceptable use
The app must only be used with content the operator has the rights to use, and only on accounts the operator controls. It must not be used to upload content that infringes third-party rights, violates TikTok's policies, is unlawful, or is intended to deceive. It must not be used to operate accounts belonging to other people.
4. Human approval
Every upload requires an explicit approval action by the operator in the app. The app contains no unattended publishing mode and does not publish to any account other than the one that authorized it.
5. No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Uploads depend on TikTok's APIs and can fail or be rejected by TikTok for reasons outside the app's control.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost content, lost revenue, or account actions taken by TikTok, arising from the use of the app.
7. Privacy
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Contact
